Startup Happy Hour with Kaleen Canevari, Founder & CEO of Flexia

Our July Startup Happy Hour guest was Kaleen Canevari, founder and CEO of Flexia. Her company, a connected fitness startup, helps people build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness with the world's first smart Pilates Reformer.

Kaleen is successfully scaling her company in our region by tapping into many of our local resources. In 2020, she completed the Carlsen Center and MetroBusiness Center’s Lean Innovator program. She is also a 2021 aluma of the FourthWave Accelerator for women-led technology companies. And she presented twice at 1 Million Cups Sacramento. Additionaly, Kaleen participated in the 2021 TechStars Sports Accelerator where she raised a $4 million dollar seed round in April of 2022.

Kaleen holds a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and is a certified Pilates instructor. She has deep roots in the world of product development having worked in the automotive, medical device, and fitness equipment industries.
